Mark Schmidt
Mark Schmidt grew up on a farm in rural Delmar. Mark specializes in farm and commercial insurance and currently serves as the manager of American Mutual Insurance Association and is the owner of the agency. Recently, Mark was elected to the Board of Directors at Grinnell. He has also obtained his Professional Farm Mutual Manager (PFMM) designation through the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies. Mark enjoys spending time with family, hiking, traveling, volunteering at his church, and golfing.

BRYAN HERINGTON
Bryan grew up in DeWitt and currently resides in DeWitt with his wife, Angie, and their two boys, Tyler and Brady. He has several years of experience in the insurance industry. He is also a member of the DeWitt Fire Department. Bryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending his sons extracurricular activities, sports, fishing, camping, traveling, and his time volunteering at the fire department. He looks forward to assisting you with your insurance needs.

Ariel Jacobs
Ariel resides outside of Grand Mound with her husband, Ben, and their two daughters Ella & Evan. In her free time Ariel enjoys traveling, running, taking the dog for hikes, and shuffling her girls around to their extra curricular activities. Ariel started with American Mutual Insurance in 2018, and became a licensed agent with Legacy Insurance Group in 2022. She likes the fact that the insurance industry provides challenges and ensures that every day there is the opportunity to learn something new.

Kathi Fausnaught
Originally from Central Illinois, Kathi has resided in Grand Mound with her husband Terry for over 30 years. Kathi enjoys gardening, cooking, and volunteering at her church, Sts. Phillip and James, in Grand Mound. She has two cats, Freya and Loki, and a daughter, Bridget. In 2018 Kathi started working for Legacy as our Customer Service Representative and Receptionist and will usually be the first person you talk with and can direct you to the appropriate person.
